في إطار الدورة العامة الأخيرة للجنة الأفريقية لحقوق الإنسان والشعوب (CADHP)، التي عُقدتْ في بانجول (غامبيا) في أكتوبر 2025، قدّْمت الجمهورية التونسية تقريرها الدوري الأول منذ عام 2006 إلى للجنة الأفريقية لحقوق الإنسان والشعوب. وقدّمتْ منظمات المجتمع المدني المناهضة لعقوبة الإعدام من ناحيتها تقريرًا بديلاً وكانت حاضرة لعرض توصياتها بشأن مسألة عقوبة الإعدام.
