Syndicat national des agents de la formation et de l’éducation du Niger (SYNAFEN)

SYNAFEN is the national labour union for training and education professionals in Niger.
Its main mission is to defend its members’ material and moral interests.
However, it is also engaged in the promotion of human rights and democracy by educational means.
In 2009, on the occasion of the 7th World Day Against the Death Penalty, SYNAFEN organised a round table on capital punishment with leading members of Niger’s civil society.
