The Tuscany region against the death penalty

The city of Florence will welcome Ivory Coast president Laurent Gbago and his Benin counterpart Thomas Yayi Boni for a day of discussion on the death penalty on November 28.
Speakers from Cape Verde, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Dominican Republic and the Council of Europe as well as Italian reprensetatives and members of African migrants’ associations will express their views during the course of the event.
The Tuscany regional council, the Community of Sant’Egidio and Amnesty International, all members of the World Coalition, have prepared the conference together.
